The visually impaired will no longer have trouble recognizing the currency. For their convenience, Reserve Bank Governor Shaktikanta Das on Wednesday launched an app called Mobile Aided Note Identifier (MANI). This app can be downloaded for free from the Android Play Store and the iOS App Store. However, this app will not be able to tell the difference between real and fake notes. The specialty of this app is that once it is downloaded, there will be no need for the internet to use it.
