A Delhi court on Tuesday granted a two-day provisional release to Indian Bharatiya Janata MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh on charges of sexually harassing a wrestler. The court also granted conditional bail to another defendant in the case, Vinod Tomar.
Bail hearings for both defendants will be held on July 20. The Court of Additional Chief Justice of the Capital Region Harjeet Singh Jaspal announced that the indictment had been filed without arrest and that the defendants had cooperated with the investigation and appeared without coercion, according to a police report, granting the defendants bail until the next hearing.
