After the Indian captain complained that the channel was “breaching” his privacy despite his requests to stop the recording, IPL broadcaster Star Sports said on Monday that it would not air the audio of any private conversation that Rohit Sharma had with anyone else. A video shared by Kolkata Knight Riders, including Rohit and KKR right hand mentor Abhishek Nayar, in which the previous was purportedly seen considering his future at the Mumbai Indians, had turned into a web sensation on May 11. The video was then removed from KKR's social media pages. On May 16, it was evident that Rohit was conversing with Dhawal Kulkarni prior to MI's matchup with Lucknow Super Giants. The opener mentioned the telecaster to switch off the sound when he saw that the cameras were indeed coordinated towards him. He claimed on Sunday that the channel had broadcast a private conversation, but Star in a statement denied the claim.
