July 21, 2025: Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared that the Monsoon Session of Parliament, which began on Monday, would be a Vijay Utsav following Operation Sindoor, in which Indian forces destroyed terror targets deep inside Pakistan in just 22 minutes. The Prime Minister stated that India had achieved 100 percent success in its military response to the Pahalgam terror attack, which shocked the world, and hoped that parliamentarians from all parties would celebrate Indian forces' successes and send a message of unity during this session. “Monsoon session is a Vijay Utsav after operation Sindoor in which we attained a 100 per cent success,” he said in his customary speech at the start of the proceedings.
According to PM Modi, the world witnessed the military prowess of made-in-India weapons as the Indian forces destroyed terror targets in 22 minutes. He thanked MPs from all parties for traveling the world following Operation Sindoor and "exposing terror patron Pakistan," saying, "Parliament must send a message of unity." Additionally, the Prime Minister stated that the Left-wing extremism was on its last legs and that the Indian Constitution was winning before guns and bombs. “I can say with pride that many districts have been freed from LWE, and our security forces are moving quickly toward success. Before bombs, guns our constitution is winning. Today's green growth corridors are the red corridors of yesterday," he informed me while I dined on India's economic advancements. The nation was in the fragile five category in 2014. We are on our way to becoming the third largest economy today. Over 25 crore people are no longer in poverty. The rate of inflation was double digits prior to 2014. The current 2% inflation rate gives the average person a break. Low inflation is powering growth:
Digital India and UPI represent India’s new capacities and most of the country is appreciating it,” PM said listing wide ranging achievements he said his government had attained in 11 years of power.
He stated that the number of real-time digital transactions in India was the highest, and the ILO reported that more than 90 million Indians are now covered by social security. He also mentioned that India had been declared free of trachoma by the WHO. PM stated that the tragedy in Pahalgam shocked the world and drew attention to terrorists everywhere. “The majority of political party representatives traveled the globe in unison to expose Pakistani terrorists. I want to laud each of them. The nation became more upbeat as a result. The nation is excited by this spirit of unity. He added, "Dal hit mein mat Bhale naa mile par desh hit mein man Milne chahiyen" (We may not get votes in favor of party interests, but our hearts must meet in favor of the national interest): "I hope we will celebrate national capacity, celebrate security forces, and inspire our people in the Monsoon session." PM’s remarks came as the opposition have multiple notices for suspension of business in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha to discuss the Pahalgam attack, Operation Sindoor and US President Donald Trump’s claims on the issue.
