A Special Police Officer (SPO) posted in the Traffic Department was crushed by a speedy truck on the Jammu-Srinagar highway in Ramban.

The deceased was identified as Pervaiz Ahmad Malik (35) of Runigam, Ramban.

The incident took place in the Shaban Bass area of Banihal late Tuesday evening when the truck crushed the SPO.
