Yoga guru Ramdev-run Patanjali Ayurved will launch an Ayurvedic medicine, Coronil, to help treat the novel coronavirus infection on Tuesday at Patanjali Yogpeeth in Haridwar, Uttarakhand. Earlier this month, Patanjali’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Acharya Balkrishna, had claimed that the company has found a cure for COVID-19 caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
Baba Ramdev had revealed that COVID-19 patients who were given Coronil - which is made from a mixture of Ashwagandha, Giloy and Tulsi - showed 100 per cent recovery rate.
“Proud launch of first and foremost evidence-based ayurvedic medicine for #corona contagion, #SWASARI_VATI, #CORONIL, is scheduled for tomorrow at 12 noon from #Patanjali Yogpeeth Haridwar,” Balkrishna tweeted on Monday.
