
A man claimed that there was a bomb under his seat on a Friday IndiGo flight from Mumbai to Lucknow.
The man claimed, according to the Mumbai police, that a bomb had been planted under the seat of a Lucknow-bound Indigo flight during boarding.
The episode occurred during the late long stretches of January 26.
The Mumbai Police say that a passenger on Indigo flight 6E 5264 from Mumbai to Lucknow said there was a bomb under his seat. The flight was checked thoroughly after that. Mumbai police and airport personnel went to the scene and conducted an investigation as soon as they received the information about this incident.
Mumbai police stated, "During the investigation, no suspicious object was found."
The 27-year-old passenger was detained by the Mumbai police and a case was filed against him under sections 506(2) and 505(1)(B) of the Indian Penal Code.
Mumbai police stated, "Police are investigating why he did this."
