Shiromani Akali Dal pioneer Ravikaran Singh Kahlon on Thursday joined BJP here on Thursday, a day after he was ousted by the Sukhbir Singh Badal-drove party.

Kahlon was invited into the party overlay by Punjab BJP boss Sunil Jakhar and party pioneer Manjinder Singh Sirsa.

Kahlon is the child of previous Punjab Gathering speaker and provincial turn of events and panchayat serve Nirmal Singh Kahlon.
