July 10, 2025: According to officials, flooding on the railway track in the Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir caused two bogies of a goods train to derail on Thursday, disrupting train traffic on the Jammu-Pathankot route. No loss of life was reported.

The incident occurred while the train was traveling from Jammu to Punjab in the district's Lakhanpur area. Officials stated that efforts are underway to restore train movement after the incident disrupted it.
