July 19, 2025: Live updates from the Microsoft outage: On Thursday, Microsoft said that it was looking into problems with its cloud services in the Central US, which have been affecting services all over the world. The outage has had a negative impact on flight operations for major airlines around the world, including in Delhi and Mumbai. At the Mumbai and Delhi airports, Akasa Airlines announced that some of its online services would be temporarily unavailable.
Spicejet also stated in a statement that it is experiencing a technical issue when it comes to providing flight updates.

Additionally, Indigo Airlines stated that a Microsoft outage is currently affecting its systems. A statement said, "During this time, booking, check-in, access to your boarding pass, and some flights may be affected." Frontier Airlines, a subsidiary of Frontier Group Holdings Inc. based in the United States, grounded flights worldwide for more than two hours and blamed issues with Microsoft's services.

Reservations and bookings for another discount airline, Allegiant Air, which operates approximately 130 aircraft and stated that it was working on resolving issues, were also affected by the outage. Australia's news outlets also reported that airlines, banks, telecommunications providers, and media broadcasters lost access to computer systems. New Zealand's banks indicated that they were also offline.
