VF 6 VinFast: VinFast's entry-level product in India will be the VF 6, which will sit below the VF 7. With a wheelbase of 2,730 millimeters and dimensions of 4,241 millimeters, the VF 6 competes with the upcoming Hyundai Creta EV and Tata Curv.ev. Its coupe-inspired sloping roofline highlights VinFast’s distinctive design DNA.
A front-wheel-drive electric motor, available in two configurations, powers the VF 6. The Eco model has 174 horsepower and 250 nm of torque, while the Plus model has 201 horsepower and 310 nm. The Eco model has a 59.6 kWh battery pack, and the Plus model has a 381-kilometer WLTP range. The vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.89 seconds. Inside, the VF 6 echoes the minimalist design of the VF 7. It comes with a 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment display tilted toward the driver, with most functions integrated into it. The vehicle has a Head-Up Display (HUD) rather than an ordinary instrument cluster. A vegan leather interior, a panoramic glass roof, a ventilated 8-way power driver's seat, dual-zone climate control, rear AC vents, a PM1.0 air filter, and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are additional highlights. Level 2 ADAS with Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Centering, Blind Spot Monitoring, 360-degree camera, automatic emergency braking, and rear cross traffic alert are among the standard safety and convenience features. The VF 6 is also equipped with seven airbags, remote control via mobile app, OTA updates, and multiple smart modes such as Camp, Pet, Wash, and Valet.
VinFast VF 7:
Positioned above the VF 6, the VinFast VF 7 is a larger and more performance-oriented SUV. It has a commanding presence on the road thanks to its dimensions of 4,545mm in length, 1,890mm in width, and 1,635.75mm in height, as well as a wheelbase of 2,840mm. Globally, the VF 7 is available in Eco and Plus trims. Both have a battery with a capacity of 75.3 kWh (usable capacity: 70.8 kWh), but their powertrains are different. The Eco model has a single front motor that produces 201 horsepower and 310 nm of torque and has a WLTP-certified range of up to 450 kilometers. The Plus model features dual-motor all-wheel drive, a powerful 348 bhp and 500 Nm of torque, and a 431-kilometer range. The Eco accelerates quickly from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 9.5 seconds, while the Plus takes just 5.8 seconds. The VF 7's tech is a highlight. The Eco model has a touchscreen that is 12.9 inches wide, while the Plus model has a larger display that is 15 inches. Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, as well as the use of a head-up display (HUD) in place of conventional gauges, are supported by both versions. In addition, there is upholstery made of vegan leather, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, PM1.0 filtration with an ionizer, and ventilated front seats with an 8-way power adjustment for the driver. The VF 7 enhances the connected experience via the VinFast app, which enables remote control of locks, windows, AC, and provides updates on vehicle health, location, and intrusion alerts. Special driving modes like Camp, Pet, Wash, and Valet further add to the convenience.
Level 2 ADAS, which includes Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Centering, Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and Automatic Lane Changing, is standard equipment on the VF 7. In addition, it provides a 360-degree camera system, automatic high beams, seven airbags, including a knee airbag, an electronic parking brake with auto-hold, roll-over mitigation, and other safety features to ensure the safety of the passengers.
