July 30, 2025: At Manish Malhotra's show at the Hyundai India Couture Week, fashion and flashbacks were the order of the evening. If anyone knows how to throw a party in Bollywood, it’s Manish Malhotra. With what he described as India's first couture party, the couturier turned Hyundai India Couture Week into a celebration. Naturally, it was a memorable event. From dreamy tablescapes to a video montage of his past shows, it was equal parts nostalgia and glamour. In a separate hall, the designer's most famous creations were on display, including Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's ivory Cannes Film Festival saree and his debut outfit for the Met Gala in 2025, Kajol's green Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995) ensemble, and Kareena Kapoor Khan's Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham suit. To top it all off, the curtains were pulled back to reveal singer Jonita Gandhi performing popular Bollywood songs, and supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio opened and closed the Couture Week show for the first time.
