July 31, 2025: The iconic BSA nameplate is making a fresh splash, this time in the 350cc segment. The company has unveiled a new motorcycle called Bantam 350, which is heavily inspired by the 43 FJ sold in India since last year. At the present-day Bike Shed Moto Show in London, the futuristic-looking motorcycle was on display. The Bantam 350 will be available in five different colors: Victor Yellow, Avalon Grey, Oxford Blue, Firecracker Red, and Barrel Black. A quick look at this RE Hunter 350 rival, which may or may not be available in India, is provided here. BSA Bantam 350 Specifications: Despite the fact that the Bantam 350 has been revealed for the UK market, its strong Indian roots cannot be ignored. The Jawa 42 Bobber and the motorcycle are built on the same foundation. Visually, the Bantam 350 borrows heavily from the Jawa 42 FJ that was introduced in India in 2023. Key design highlights include blacked-out treatment across the engine, exhaust and alloy wheels. Besides, it gets round headlamps and an overall sporty neo-retro theme. The bike's British heritage is suggested by subtle details like the Union Jack on the fuel tank and the "Three Gun Salute" badge on the crankcase. Hardware-wise, it has twin shock absorbers at the rear and telescopic forks at the front. The bike runs on 18-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels, fitted with tubeless tyres. Braking is handled by a 320mm disc up front and a 240mm disc at the rear, assisted by dual-channel ABS.
Power comes from a 334cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The motor produces 29 bhp at 7,750 rpm and 29.62 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm.
