Jammu, Aug 5, 2025: In a minor administrative reshuffle, the Jammu and Kashmir Government has ordered the transfers and postings of 10 IAS and 4 JKAS officers.
Naveen S L, who previously held the position of Secretary to the Government's Transport Department, has been transferred to the position of Secretary to the Government's Civil Aviation Department, where he will also serve as Commissioner of Civil Aviation. He succeeds Dr. Shahid Iqbal Choudhary.
After taking a leave of absence to pursue her education, Avny Lavasa has been appointed Secretary of the Government's Transport Department. Anshul Garg, Chief Executive Officer of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, has been posted as Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir.
J&K Services Selection Board Chairman will now be Poonch Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal. The Managing Director of Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited is Gurpal Singh, who previously held the position of Director, Social Welfare, Jammu. Anil Banka has been elevated to the position of Special Secretary to the Government's Finance Department, while Sachin Kumar Vaishya, Deputy Commissioner of Jammu, has been promoted to CEO of the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board. Shrikant Balasaheb Suse, Managing Director, Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited, has been posted as Deputy Commissioner, Kupwara.
Dr. Rakesh Minhas, who was Deputy Commissioner of Kathua, is now going to be Deputy Commissioner of Jammu, and Ayushi Sudan, who was Deputy Commissioner of Kupwara, is going to be Deputy Commissioner of Samba in the same capacity. Manzoor Ahmad Qadri, Bandipora's Deputy Commissioner, has been fired and will wait for new instructions from the General Administration Department. J&K Services Selection Board Chairperson Indu Kanwal has been appointed Bandipora's Deputy Commissioner. Ashok Kumar Sharma, Special Secretary to the Government, Labour, and Employment Department, has been transferred to the position of Deputy Commissioner in Poonch, and Rajesh Sharma, formerly the Deputy Commissioner in Samba, has been transferred to the position of Deputy Commissioner in Kathua.
