PM to visit Gayaji to launch projects, address rally on Aug 22 ahead of Bihar assembly polls.

Aug 20, 2025: Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary announced on Wednesday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Gayaji district on August 22 to launch a number of projects and give a public rally in advance of the Bihar assembly elections. Choudhary recently went to Gayaji to oversee the PM's function preparations.

In a post on X on Wednesday, Choudhary, who also holds the portfolio of the Finance Department, wrote, “Bringing the gift of development, Modi ji is coming to Bihar again.

On August 22, the PM will arrive in Gayaji. The deputy chief minister stated that the PM would open and lay the foundation stone for Bihar's first six-lane bridge over the Ganga and approximately Rs 1,200 crore worth of development projects. Choudhary stated on the social media platform, "I urge you all to come to Gayaji to listen to the country's most popular leader Modi ji." Modi had previously visited Motihari, Siwan, Madhubani and Patna since April.

This year's elections for the Bihar assembly are coming up.
