Aug 26, 2025: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved Hridesh Kumar's appointment as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of NATGRID (National Intelligence Grid) in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary to the Government of India, a significant bureaucratic reshuffle.

Kumar, who previously served as the Chief Electoral Officer of Jammu and Kashmir, was formerly posted as the Managing Director of the Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation of India (TRIFED).
